This half term has been all about exploring life cycles, change and transitions through nature, reflection and storytelling.
The children have been developing their understanding of personal and natural growth, while also preparing emotionally for their next steps, particularly those getting ready to move on to Reception or school nursery.
We have looked closely at some of the amazing changes that happen in nature, watching caterpillars transform into butterflies and beans grow into plants.
After two postponements because of the weather, we finally enjoyed a joyful Sports Day and Colour Run, bringing children and families together for a wonderful morning of activity and fun.
We raised funds at our Family Fun Day and our Reception leavers also enjoyed a splash-tastic trip to the paddling pool at Rowan Road Recreation Ground, a lovely way to celebrate their time with us before their next adventure begins.
Additionally, with some exceptionally hot weather this July, we also spent time learning about the importance of sun safety and how we can help keep ourselves safe and well in the sunshine.
