It was a short but busy week. We were relieved to hear we would be able to stay open for our families and glad, despite the worrying circumstances that we find ourselves in, that many of our families chose to send their children in. We even welcomed some new friends. Of course we miss friends who are staying at home but completely understand the anxiety that their families are feeling right now. The children themselves had a lovely time and got right back into the swing of things. We had some fun in the builder’s tray when an escape from the zoo led to wild animals marauding round the town. This inspired us to boogie with the animals down in the jungle, and go to meet the animals in the jungles of Brazil. We also made snowflakes with cotton buds, explored frozen sand and shared all our Christmas news.
